Visa application

All foreigners are required to have a valid passport and visiting visa to enter Nepal. For all participants in MGDA-11, visa on arrival is granted at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. For the participants from India, a valid identification or passport is sufficient and they do not need visa to travel in Nepal. According to the Department of Immigration, a visa fee of US$ 25 (for 15 days with multiple entry permit) is applicable to all foreigners.
